5 Days of Turning with Simon Begg - Beginners/Intermediate

This is a 5-day workshop class for students who wish to develop their skills in woodturning. The student will be introduced to the foundations of turning. Simon discusses the basics of spindle turning and bowl turning. Students will have their own lathe and plenty of hands-on time to work on various projects. 

The skills taught will include turning between centres, using faceplates, and how to turn a bowl, lidded box and platter. Tools used will consist of both traditional turning chisels and carbide turning chisels.
