1. STANDARD SERVICE -  INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (DHL eCommerce / DHL Global Mail) 

Please kindly note that items that are flagged as “No Free Ship” are not included in these shipping offers. Items include heavy, bulky items i.e. Pen cases and machinery. An extra cost will be incurred. 

For international orders we use DHL Global Mail, this usually takes 9-16 business days depending on your region.  By Global Mail, this means that your package will be sent via DHL to your country, and then handed to your Local Postage service for delivery. This is not a completely tracked service because DHL doesn’t have visibility once it’s with your Local Postage service.
 

2. EXPRESS SERVICE - INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (DHL Express)

You may nominate to have Express International Shipping when finalising your order. Simply select "Express International Shipping".

As the name indicates, this is an Express Service which means you’ll receive your package on average between 3-5 business days! There is also full tracking available, so you’ll know where your package is en route to the destination. Look out for the yellow DHL van who will deliver straight to your door. This service is delivered through the DHL network.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

All our shipping rates (DHL eCommerce / DHL Global Mail / DHL Express) are live rates that we are getting charged from our courier services, we don't have any margin on these rates, we are passing on exactly what we are getting charged at the time. These rates may change from time to time depending on what price increases or decreases we receive. 

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be before buying.  These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – please do not confuse them for additional shipping charges from Timberbits.

As these charges are the buyer’s responsibility - if you refuse to pay the duties and taxes advised by the Freight Company and request to get the goods sent back to us, you will incur a re-delivery and restocking fee.

For orders under $500 = $80

For orders over $500 = 20% of invoice total

Charges for "Heavy/Bulky" items

Additional postage may be required for items marked with "Heavy/Bulky".

The rates are below:

$10AUD/kg to the US, UK and NZ.
$12AUD/kg to Canada and Asia.
$15AUD/kg to all other countries.

Customer Service Policy

Timberbits is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. Standard postage handling timeframes are between 1 - 3 business days (this does not include sale periods) if an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund.

When will my order be shipped?

Our service delivery cut off time is 12 pm Sydney Time (+10GMT). All orders placed before this time will normally be sent out on the same working day. All orders placed after that will normally be shipped the following business day. However, due to the high volumes of orders, packages are not guaranteed to ship the same day but will ship as soon as possible. Orders placed on the weekend will not be shipped until the following Monday.

At Timberbits we endeavour to get your order out to you as soon as possible. Once your order been submitted and payment processed it is automatically sent to our or warehouse for dispatch. Unfortunately once an order has been made it is not usually possible to make any adjustments to your order.
