STANDARD SERVICE – INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (DHL eCommerce / DHL Global Mail)
For international orders, we use DHL Global Mail, which typically takes 9–16 business days depending on your region. With this service, your package is sent via DHL to your country and then handed over to your local postal service for final delivery.
Please note: This is not a fully tracked service once the package has been handed over to your local postal carrier.
Tracking Your Order
To track your order, just add your order number to AUTIM.
Example: If your order number is TB144123, your tracking number will be AUTIMTB144123.
Exclusions & Additional Charges
Items flagged as “No Free Ship” are not included in free shipping offers. This includes heavy or bulky items, such as pen cases and machinery, which will incur an extra charge.
EXPRESS SERVICE – INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (DHL Express)
If you prefer a faster option, you can select "Express International Shipping" at checkout. This is a premium courier service that typically delivers your package in 3–5 business days.

- Delivered directly to your door by a DHL courier
- Faster and more reliable than postal services

IMPORTANT – For US Customers: New Import Tariff Rules (May 2025 Update)
The US has introduced new tariffs on goods made in China or Hong Kong, which may apply to your order depending on the items and shipping method:
- Orders shipped via Australia Post or DHL eCommerce (standard service) may now be subject to import duties up to 145%, even if the order is under USD $800.
- Orders shipped via DHL Express are subject to a lower import duty of around 34% and go through a faster, more predictable customs process.
- Orders over USD $800 and shipped with DHL Express are now allowed and will be processed normally. DHL had paused these shipments temporarily, but service has resumed. US Customs may still apply duties based on product origin.
Timberbits is not responsible for any import duties or taxes charged by US Customs. These are payable by the customer. If unpaid, the parcel may be returned, delayed, or discarded.
Import Duties & Taxes
Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in item prices or shipping charges. These are the buyer’s responsibility and vary by country.
If you refuse to pay duties or taxes and the package is returned to us, the following fees will apply:
- Orders under $500 AUD: $80 AUD restocking fee
- Orders over $500 AUD: 20% of the invoice total
Charges for Heavy/Bulky Items
- $10 AUD/kg to the US, UK, and NZ
- $12 AUD/kg to Canada and Asia
- $15 AUD/kg to all other countries
Customer Service Policy
Processing Time: 1–3 business days (excluding sale periods). If an item is unavailable, we’ll notify you within 2 business days.
Shipping Cutoff:
- Orders placed before 12 PM Sydney Time (GMT+10) are typically shipped the same day.
- Orders placed after this are shipped the next business day.
- Weekend orders ship the following Monday.
Order Changes:
Orders are sent straight to our warehouse once processed. If you need to make urgent changes, please call us immediately. Email requests may not be read in time.
