Easy Wood Tools Pro Easy Rougher

Pro Easy Tools provide long handles for larger turning projects, including platters and vessels. Their hickory handles are 4 in (approx. 102 mm) longer than the Full Size range.

Tool choices and fitted cutters

• Pro Easy Rougher: Ci1-R4 cutter with a 4 in (approx. 102 mm) edge radius for removing material and establishing the shape.
• Pro Easy Finisher: Ci0 round cutter for curves and final shaping.
• Pro Easy Detailer: Ci4 diamond cutter for coves, beads and fine detail.

Specifications for each tool

• Overall length: 28 1/2 in (approx. 724 mm).
• Handle: 20 in (approx. 508 mm), American hickory.
• Tool bar: 1/2 in square x 8 1/2 in long (approx. 12.7 x 12.7 x 216 mm), stainless steel.
• Manufacturer-rated maximum reach beyond the tool rest: 4 in (approx. 102 mm).
• Each tool has its specified standard carbide cutter fitted and is supplied with a hex key.

Keep the bar flat on the tool rest, the tool parallel to the floor and the cutting edge at the centreline of the work. Rotate the cutter to an unused edge as needed, then replace it when the usable edges are worn.
