Supporting Men's Sheds and Woodworking/Woodturning Clubs with Exclusive Discounts

Men's Shed and club discounts at Timberbits

Timberbits is here to help you create with wood. A lot of that creating happens in Men's Sheds and in woodworking and woodturning clubs, so we run a standing discount for members and for the sheds and clubs themselves.

Here is how it works and how to get it set up.

The two discounts

Who	Discount	Applies to
A member of a Men's Shed or woodworking/woodturning club	5%	Your own orders
The shed or club, through one approved buyer	10%	Orders placed on behalf of the shed or club

Both are attached to your online profile and come off automatically at checkout on eligible items. You need to be logged in before you start your order.

What the discounts exclude

The discounts do not apply to:

• Festool, Incra, Tormek, Bessey, Vicmarc, Henry Taylor and Hamlet
• Sale and clearance items
• Items already on bulk discount pricing
• Gift vouchers

Everything else is eligible.

Start here: register a profile

The discount sits on a customer profile, so the profile has to exist first. Register at timberbits.com/_myacct/register.

Fill in every field: full name, address, phone number. If details are missing we cannot set the discount up.

Setting up the 5% member discount

1. Register your profile if you have not already.
2. Call us on 02 9788 3383 or email sales@timberbits.com.
3. Tell us the name of your Men's Shed or club.
4. We add the 5% discount to your profile.

Setting up the 10% shed or club discount

The shed or club nominates one person to buy on its behalf, and the discount goes on that person's profile.

1. Make sure the nominated buyer has a registered profile.
2. Someone from the club emails sales@timberbits.com with that person's name and contact details.
3. The details in the email must match the registered profile, otherwise we cannot match the two up.
4. We add the 10% discount to that profile.

The person responsible for purchases is:

• Registered profile: john.smith@email.com

Using your discount

Log in before you start your order. The discount then applies at checkout on eligible items. If you are not logged in, it will not come off.

Why we do it

Sheds and clubs are where a lot of people first get their hands on a lathe, and where the knowledge gets handed on. Cheaper gear means more of that.
