Easy Wood Tools Carbide Cutters - Ci4 Diamond

Choose a replacement cutter by the reference engraved on your Easy Wood Tools bar. Shape alone is not enough to establish compatibility. Standard cutters suit everyday timber turning; negative rake options provide a less aggressive cut for hard woods and materials such as resin and acrylic.

Cutter choices and tool compatibility

• Full Size and Pro Finishers: Ci0 standard round or Ci0-NR negative rake round.
• Full Size and Pro Roughers: Ci1-SQ square; Ci1-R4, 4 in (approx. 102 mm) edge radius; Ci1-R2, 2 in (approx. 51 mm) edge radius; or Ci1-R2-NR negative rake, 2 in (approx. 51 mm) edge radius.
• Easy Start, Mini and Mid-Size Roughers: Ci2-SQ square; Ci2-R2, 2 in (approx. 51 mm) edge radius; or Ci2-R2-NR negative rake with the same radius.
• Easy Start, Mini and Mid-Size Finishers, and Pro Hollowers: Ci3 standard round or Ci3-NR negative rake round.
• Easy Start, Mini, standard Mid-Size, Full Size and Pro Detailers: Ci4 standard diamond or Ci4-NR negative rake diamond.
• Micro Finishers, Mini Hollowers and Mid-Size Hollowers: Ci5 standard round or Ci5-NR negative rake round.
• Micro Roughers: Ci6-SQ square; Ci6-R1, 1 in (approx. 25.4 mm) edge radius; or Ci6-R1-NR negative rake with the same radius.
• Micro Detailers and Mid-Size Micro Detailers: Ci7 standard diamond or Ci7-NR negative rake diamond.

Radius figures describe the curve of the cutting edge, not the width of the cutter. Choose one cutter option from the menu.

Parting-tool replacements

• Pi1: 1/8 in (approx. 3.2 mm) standard parting cutter for the original PT125 only. Timberbits SKU 811269020766.
• Pi160: 1/8 in (approx. 3.2 mm) negative rake replacement blade assembly for the second-generation PT150 parting tool only. Timberbits SKU 811269021305.

Pi1 and Pi160 are not interchangeable. Check the part reference and SKU before ordering a parting replacement.

Cutter care

For indexable cutters, rotate to an unused cutting edge as needed and replace once the usable edges are worn. The parting replacements use their own replacement procedure.
