Woodcut Tru-Grind Original Sturdy Rest

The Tru-Grind Original Sturdy Rest replaces the flimsy guide supports that come with most bench grinders, which tend to vibrate and flex. This rest is rigid, which makes for an even grind, and its unique design lets you swing the rest out of the way when it's not in use.

It works equally well for carpentry chisels, plane blades and woodturning scrapers. If you free hand sharpen your chisels, the rigidity is what you'll notice first. Easy spring loaded handles make altering the angle simple, with pre-set markings so you can return to your favourite position.

Choose left or right side to suit your setup. Each rest is set for the matching Base Slide side and can be changed to fit the other side.

What you'll need:
A bench grinder. The Sturdy Rest pairs with the Tru-Grind Original Base Slide.

Where it sits:
A solid upgrade over stock grinder rests. The Premium Sturdy Rest adds a wide 4" (110mm) platform and laser etched reference marks if you sharpen a lot of scrapers.
