Woodcut Bowlsaver Light Guide (USB)

The Bowlsaver Light Guide takes the guesswork out of planning your cores. Developed for owners of the Bowlsaver Original and Max models, it shows you exactly where the blade will cut before you commit.

The guide has a post that attaches to the pivot bolt of your Bowlsaver, with a platform holding a light pen in line with the cutter. Rotate the platform and the light traces the cutter's path across the outside of the blank, so you can set up each core for the bowl shapes you want. The body has three holes, catering for both the Bowlsaver Original and the Bowlsaver Max models.

This updated version replaces the old coin batteries with a USB charged light pen.

What you'll need:
A Woodcut Bowlsaver Original or Bowlsaver Max. The guide is an accessory and does not core on its own.

Where it sits:
Worth adding if you core regularly and want predictable wall thicknesses and shapes from every blank. If you're still deciding on a coring system, start with the Bowlsaver itself and add the Light Guide later.
