Hamlet HCT208 Recessing Tool for Use with Thread Chasers

The Hamlet HCT208 is a specialist woodturning tool used to create a relief recess at the end of an internal threaded area.

This recess provides clearance for the internal thread chaser at the end of each pass, allowing the tool to finish and withdraw cleanly without running into the internal shoulder. This helps produce cleaner, more controlled threads, particularly when cutting stopped internal threads in lidded boxes, containers and similar turned projects.
