Woodcut Pro-Forme Flexi Powerhead 1/2"

The Pro-Forme Flexi Powerhead is the complete 1/2" cutter head for the Pro-Forme Flexi hollowing system, supplied with its brass gauge.

The head carries the engineered Pro-Forme cutter: narrow at the front for efficient end grain cutting, a side opening to release shavings, a tall bevel for stability and a broad cutting edge for fast hollowing with an excellent finish off the tool. The adjustable brass gauge operates like a bench plane, determining depth of cut and preventing dig-ins. The cutter is hardened M2 high speed steel, open on one side to prevent clogging, and cuts at much slower speeds, around 500 rpm, minimising secondary shavings.

If you're price conscious, this single head can be moved between Flexi shafts, so you don't need a cutter on every shaft.

What you'll need:
A Pro-Forme Flexi shaft. Sharpen the cutter with a diamond hone or replace it when needed.
