Woodcut Pro-Forme Flexi Hollower

The Pro-Forme Flexi is Woodcut's hollowing tool for small to medium projects, ideally up to 6" deep, where access through tight necks and restricted openings is essential.

Two high tensile articulating joints, one short straight and one bent, let the tool navigate shoulders and the tightest hollow form necks. The streamlined profile fits through a 15mm hole. The engineered Pro-Forme cutter head is the same design proven across the range: a side opening releases the shavings, a tall bevel provides stability, and the broad cutting edge hollows fast with an excellent finish off the tool. Cutters are M2 HSS, triple tempered, and an adjustable brass gauge works like a bench plane to set depth of cut and prevent dig-ins.

Choose a 1/2" or 5/8" diameter 350mm shaft.

What's included:
Flexi shaft with both articulating joints and the Powerhead 1/2" cutter complete with brass gauge. Supplied unhandled.

What you'll need:
A handle. The 1/2" shaft suits the Twin Collet Handle; the 5/8" shaft suits the Pro-Handle. Sharpen the cutter with a diamond hone or the Tru-Grind Stem Sharpener.

Where it sits:
The Flexi is built for tight-necked forms. For larger, deeper work up to 13" on open forms, the Pro-Forme Solid shafts are the better fit.
