Woodcut Pro-Forme Solid Powerhead 1/2"

The Pro-Forme Solid Powerhead is the complete 1/2" cutter head for Pro-Forme Solid shafts, supplied with its brass gauge.

It carries the engineered Pro-Forme cutter: narrow at the front to cut end grain efficiently, a side opening (the big exhaust) for fast hollowing and shaving release, a tall bevel for stability, and a broad cutting edge that removes side grain quickly while producing an excellent finish off the tool. The adjustable brass gauge determines depth of cut and prevents dig-ins, operating similar to a bench plane. The cutter is hardened M2 high speed steel, triple tempered.

One head can move between your straight, slight bent and bent shafts, so you don't need a cutter on every shaft.

What you'll need:
A Pro-Forme Solid shaft. Sharpen with a diamond hone; the cutter is replaceable.
