Woodcut Tru-Grind Premium Sharpening System

The Tru-Grind Premium Sharpening System is the new generation of Woodcut's sharpening jig, developed over almost four years of prototype testing with turners around the world alongside founder Ken Port.

The system pairs the proven Tru-Grind Tool Holder with the Premium Base Slide. The Tool Holder sharpens every woodturning tool without adaptors, up to 1-1/2"" diameter, with a set-the-number system for exact, repeatable bevels. The Premium Base Slide adds a cam lock handle to secure the slide in position, a measurement scale and reference marker so you can accurately re-establish your setup, protection against metallic dust impacting the slide, and two pivot points: the near point for most tools, the rear point for scraper tools and a T-bar dresser. The handle moves to either side, so it mounts left or right of your grinder.
