Product Information

Minnerichi Pen Blank – Distinctive Australian Native

Minnerichi is a rare and uniquely beautiful Australian hardwood, prized for its deep red tones and fine, uniform grain. Native to arid regions of central and western Australia, it offers a dense, stable turning experience with a natural lustre that polishes to a rich, glassy finish.

Often compared to desert timbers like Gidgee or Mulga, Minnerichi stands out for its deep, wine-red colouring and clean, consistent texture. It pairs exceptionally well with gold or black pen hardware and is an excellent choice for both hobbyists and professional makers seeking a refined, elegant look.

Features

  • Deep red heartwood with subtle grain character

  • Finishes to a high-gloss, mirror-like surface

  • Native Australian species, sustainably sourced

  • Excellent dimensional stability and hardness

  • Ideal for pens, inlays, and fine turning projects

Specifications

  • Approx. dimensions: 20mm x 20mm x 130mm
